First of all, women are less superficial about looks, so if these 'boring looking guys' are getting the women, they must have something to offer.
Second of all, there simply are more attractive women than there are men out there...so it always seems to me that so-so looking guys are with good-looking chicks.

And yes, I see good looking guys date down quite often actually. We guys don't only care about looks.

I think women generally have to try harder to look good, so you'll see more good-looking ones in general. *shrug*

I know hot.
Women do try harder to look good. They do all sorts of things that men would never even dream of. The other day, I was with my friend and I had on a little bit of mascara. I kid you not, she told me that it would make a positive difference in my romantic life if I applied primer to my eyelashes before I applied mascara. I told her that I don't think men even notice those little things (I only had on a little bit of mascara anyway) but she's a big makeup wearer and I'm not so she's convinced that guys notice these things and it makes them like a woman more.
