Glad it worked out ... if it makes you feel any better, when my ex was looking for a new positition he hit up anyone and everyone for referrals or ins... In this job market (of the last 4 years or so), you have to know someone ... That being said, you shouldnt do anything that makes you uncomfortable. Hopefully, you can have a good laugh over this and move on.

I don't think we'll be having a good laugh. Normally I would've already heard from him by now. I guess it is what it is. I will reach out to him later and if he's not receptive then oh well.

Since he was the one who said if its not going to work out he is man enough to let the woman know. Lets see if he sticks to that.
