I used to be much friendlier...but it got to be constant b.s. with men thinking I was "into" them, & having to deal w/ that.....I quit being so nice

I would say for the most part, women speak more with their body than with their mouths.

I've interpreted women's friendliness as...Friendly, if they're ever friendly to me.

if they were hitting on me, it all went over my head because i don't correlate friendliness to flirting.

Same here -- I find that friendliness is misunderstood or taken for more than what it is. I have become less friendly as a result, which may be interpreted as aloofness or arrogance, but it is just to avoid awkwardness or unwelcome situations.

Yes, I just decided it was a bad idea to be friends with my exes because they seemed to still flirt with me! And here I was thinking it was over, just trying to be friendly..
