When it comes to attracting women, looks + money + status are all that matters
There are guys out there who are generally considered attractive, and make good money and have "status" (e.g. a high-ranking occupation or nice connections)...who DO NOT do well with women at all. And then there are guys who have little or none of that...and have never had difficulty dating women.

Nearly everything a man needs to attract a woman comes from within. Good looks, a nice job, etc certainly can improve his odds, but in the realm of attraction those things usually are little more than accessories. A rotten, bitter or incompetent person with a high-level job, an Armani suit and a broad-shouldered, well-toned build is still a rotten, bitter or incompetent person.

I wish we could make this post a sticky at the top of the forum for everyone to see.

Women like a tall guy because he can protect her/their children from harm.

I'm 6'1.

I don't need a guys protection, I can protect myself.

I've developed a little crush on a guy who is MAYBE 5'5... we're in a D&D group together that starts a new campaign in May. Nerdy. Short. And he's AWESOME. Decent women won't care about your height.

Your justification for your claim presupposes that you are decent.

This may, or may not, be the case.

I'd like to think I'm a decent human being.

The vast majority of people probably do. Including some that others would not consider decent people.

"Women only like money, status, and looks!!! That's why I'm all alone!"

This is the battle cry of so many of the men on CD. "It's not MY fault! It's THEIR fault!"
