I can deal with someone who has a tendency to be late, mainly because when we have to be somewhere at a certain time (wedding, movie, plans arranged with other people, etc.), I just tell him the event starts 30 minutes before it really does.
I can also deal with someone who tries to twist and turn words in an argument because I can be very stubborn in saying, "No, that's not what I said. What did I say? Exactly. What were my words? Right. And that is what I mean, not what you are saying I said, and not what you think those words I didn't even say mean. I only say what I mean." I get a lot of practice with that here on C-D.
Girls that can't say two words with saying..."like", or "you know". Get on my nerves. Like the other day I like went to this girls house, and she was like...blah blah blah, and so on.lol
I was reading this and I was thinking, 'Yeah, I can see how that could be annoying'... until I got to the final '.lol.' BWAHAHA!
It's hard to think in terms of flaws that I tolerate. Maybe it makes more sense to me if I look at it as things that don't annoy me but often annoy other people.
The main one that comes to mind is mild narcissism. It doesn't irritate me. I have, however, noticed that it correlates with problems with empathy, which I find unworkable in a romantic relationship. So I will keep these folks as just-friends, in the future. Asperger's and ADD, same thing.
Oh, I know one -- English as a second language, and/or being from another culture. Not a problem at all for me, but some people feel it's too big a barrier.
I don't know if you would count any of these as personality flaws, though . This is a hard topic!
As for the OP...depends entirely on the severity of the 'flaw'. I've found all kinds of things are tolerable if you actually like the person. Some of my friends have horrid flaws and I don't love them any less for it. In many cases, their flaws are what make them interesting.
True. HOWEVER, there are traits I'd be able to live with in a friend that I wouldn't necessarily be able to live with in somebody with whom I'd want to build a life.

The only three fatal flaws in a woman as far as a complete deal breaker with me are the three D's...druggie,drunk or drama queen..no room in my life for any mess like that.
What might be considered a personality "flaw" in one person's eyes may be viewed as a positive in another person's eyes. I agree with the comment earlier in this thread that most of the examples mentioned are just differences in personalities.
- Smoking

- racist

That's a pretty good list!
