Its my own belief, testosterone its the reason why "in general" women have it easier. Men typically do most of the elbow work when it comes to dating: we approach/engage more often, initiate more often, etc. and sex is what drives us to do so.
Of course, most men want companionship/intimacy and a life shared with someone they love (like myself)... but the driving force is sex. Sex is actually the driving force in both genders; it brings man and woman together, IMO.
How often would someone get involved with another person if sex/intimacy was totally off the table, indefinitely? I'm surely not dating for a bingo partner or roommate

I think I may give up. I have nowhere else to try to meet people. OLD is not working well. My main hobby is all middle aged or older women. I work around a bunch of married men.... ugh.
