What kind of stuff do you want to make sure you ask?

Me, I try to remember to ask how long it's been since the person's last serious relationship ended. Several times I have forgotten this question, and ended up wasting my time on someone who had been separated all of a week.

If the last LTR was a legal marriage, or more than a few years long, I want to know that they have had at least one fling since it ended.

Nothing in particular, but I do like to get a feel of how they communicate and if we'd be at all compatible. There are some red flags and things that I just find not ok so I don't pursue an IRL meeting if those things occur.
