Personally you need to get your priorities straight. Finding a girlfriend should be on the lower end of the priority list.
1. Get a full time job. Without $$ very few women are willing to go out with someone.
2. Learn some social skills. Start small. Go to the mall and try to smile at once person. Not creepy stalker smile but just acknowledge them. That is a good step. Hold your head up and don't look at the ground.
3. Get contacts. I wear glasses also but wear my contacts 90% of the time. When I wear my glasses I look like a geek.
4. Quit using your Asperger's as a crutch. Seriously. YOU can break out of that cycle IF you really want to but using it as a crutch is only hurting you.
My prescription is too thick for contacts unfortunatly.
I already signed up for the aspergers dating site. So far no one who lives near me.
Glad to hear these, you're making an effort^
WrongPlanet is pretty good, IME-but Aspie Affection, the dating site, isn't well-run, it's pretty haphazard.
I quit AspieAffection years ago, because it had so many glitches & such an outdated interface/functionality.
I would suggest posting in the WrongPlanet "Eligible Odd-Bods" thread under "Love and Dating" section.
You'll likely have better luck, IMHO.

Someone needs to start a modern asperger dating site that is better run.
I would stay away from many of the topics posted in the L & D section of WrongPlanet. There is a lot of anger and bickering in that section along with the PPR section. I would consider you posting in the Haven or another sub-forum there as you have other things you need to take care of based on your OP.

Thank you
It seems that people with aspergers do a lot of bickering. Why I don't know??

People-neurotypicals included-do a lot of bickering.
Why should aspies be otherwise ? We're people too.
The particular thread I recommended is not full of bickering,
it's specifically for placing/posting one's self-profile,
for avaialble single people on the spectrum.

They can't be any worse than the folks in the politics and religion forums.
