Had a nice and entertaining conversation last night with this woman and after 2 hours she asked......."so what is your last name?

HUH????????? What magazine or Tv show is telling women to ask this question because no one asked me this at all 6 years ago. This silly mess just started in the last couple of years. And I don't want to cut her off because we did have a nice convo but that question just came out of nowhere.

All I want to know is.......................why the sudden request????

Maybe she wants to look you up on Facebook or maybe she's just curious. You could always ask her.

Maybe she's doing a back ground check on you on her phone while you to were on a date.

WTH? Why is this a big deal? It's not like she's asking you your penis size before she gets too involved. I always ask guys their last names before meeting them in person (one on one).

If my body is found duct taped and gagged somewhere in a ditch after the first date, I think its only logical that there be a last name attached to the dude who killed me.

My guess is that she is trying to do a formal, or informal background check to protect herself. It's not all that uncommon these days.

Either that, or she's simply curious. I believe it was date 3 when I asked the guy I'm datings full name, and it was solely out of curiosity because I wanted to know more about him. He already knew mine considering he had taken a look at my airport security badge.

Or I've had way to many experiences with shady guys...

Not everyone is sweet and wanting to take you out to dinner.

You may think it's crazy, but some girls have been in seriously sketchy situations with guys who came off completely different before they met them. It's easy for guys to say women should just wing it.
