I don't know, Are my being nice? If you are being nice and nobody is offended, yes, it is better.

Fat isn't curvy, sexy, or anything of the sort.

You must be a lot of fun at parties.

Yes! This is much much better!

Just like saying "I disagree with Yellow Jacket's style" would be much better than saying "Yellow Jacket's posts bite because he is a complete kneebiter who is nasty, crass and displays extraordinarily maladaptive social skills...I think he must have been dropped on his head as a child."

See how the first way says the same thing, only in a much nicer and more respectful way?

What if the ever so slightly stout woman is offended?

Yellow Jacket, I have the feeling that the only chance you have of a woman keeping company with you is by maintaining silence.

I disagree with that point. Your second point is much more concise and endows more detail. Hence, they do not say the same thing. Your maladroit insolence never ceases to bewilder me. I highly suggest that you need to desist being so tender to one's point.

So don't. It can actually be done without making a Federal case about it.

It even possibly some women would be grateful.

If believing that assists in providing consolation to your fragile self then so be it. In all honesty, you have a point. Women don't shut up.
