Thinking about couples I know who got married in the last year or two, one was in their 20s (and they are already divorced) and the other 3 were in their 50s.
It is just folks I know, or are there a lot of people getting married in that age bracket? I think I might like to do so when I get to that age, and maybe I am not so weird?

Oh, no! I was just thinking, 'Thank gawd for the edit function.' Then I saw it doesn't work on titles. How embarrassing.
LOL. Based on my anecdotal experience people in their 50s are not interested especially if married before and the desire diminishes with multi marriages.
I think many people in this age bracket do get married. Like the poster above mentioned it may be after a previous marriage(s) and also if there are kids they are older and likely living on their own. Allowing the parents more time to date, socialize and marry. They are mature and usually settled and not playing games.
