I'll never understand why people complain about rules on sites they use free of charge. You're not paying for any of it. If you don't like it, don't belong. That goes for City-Data and Facebook, as well.
On POF, people can select an age range that are allowed to contact them. So if a woman didn't want an older man to contact her, she could set the age range to whatever her age preference is. Not sure the point of the rule.
The site is garbage anyway. It looks like a 14 year old designed it.
I always thought POF was kinda the cesspool of internet dating sites, so anything that might ultimately improve it is probably a good thing.
I tend to be pretty wary of the free sites, anyway.
POF was absolutely the worst, and I gave it two tries in two different cities and it was amazing how similar they were in both. Just the worst type of guys were on there, and I got horribly lewd messages, messages that I couldn't understand and more 'hi how r u' messages than I would have liked.
Meh....There are better dating sites out there than POF, anyway. Switch to one of them and move on with life.
