Along with my complete lack of desire to have kids, my family also has bad genes consisting od alcoholism, ocd, depression, breast cancer, bipolar and other things that having to live and deal with, I have desire to make my child suffer from them like me and other members of my family have.
No, my genes will die with me, and im content with that, and I don't expect other people to understand or like it.
You don't have to "expect other people to understand" but most people do, really, it's not so complicated.
And hey, I applaud you for ending the faulty gene pool and NOT reproducing
Just don't make the mistake some here are making when they convince themselves that "most men don't want kids" or that because they had bad parents they too will be bad parents. These things are just not true
My husband desperately wants children. I have never wanted them or imagined my life with them in it. (Yes, we talked extensively about it before marriage--agreed that unless I changed my mind, we'd stay childless). His desire for kids has grown and grown the longer we've been married. He looks forward to church on Sundays so he can hold friends' kiddos and chase the toddlers around the gym.
I don't understand how the subject would even come up. Are you volunteering the information? If so, why?
It comes up in conversations fairly often with me. "When are you guys having kids?" or "How many kids are you going to have?" seem to be favorite conversation starters from well meaning friends and family.
"Actually, I'm not sure it's on the agenda."
I tell my 8th graders I have 130 kids, I don't need to add another.

I was talking to Dissenter, who is very young and is not even in a relationship. I just wonder how, for someone like him, the subject would ever come up, unless he makes a point to proactively assert his stance--for whatever reason.
My husband doesn't pay child support and he gets to see his kids.
Are you divorced? I am saying if the woman decides to leave the man is up the creek. A wife with a kid simply has way too much leverage, I would be on edge every day the kid was under 18 if not a nervous wreck.

As a man in his early 30s, I feel that time is not on my side like it used to be. Although men can have kids through old age, I still don't want to wait too late. But honestly, I can't handle children right now nor a wife. My career has not taken off yet and i'm still a little selfish.
Maybe i'll never have children. Who knows? But i feel like i need to carry on the name.
So is my plane but the courts don't view it that way. If there is no lien from an initial lender then I think you should be able to make rare muscle cars and planes family and they are off the table in legal matters because they are considered like a spouse. I wonder if its legal for me to legally marry my plane.
