We've been married for 28 years and we love each other very much but we aren't best friends. He's not much of a communicator. Makes me sad.

I have had a husband who was not my best friend, so I do know what that was like as well.

When I think of the relationship I have with my SO, I really don't think I would want it any other way. I like that he is my best friend.

Do I have people to talk to about girl things? Of course I do. The big thing with us, is that if there is anything that I have to complain about in reference to him, I complain to him. I talk to him about it. I am wasting my breath to talk to anyone else about it. It won't change anything, will it?

There really has not been much I have had, but there have been a few things. They weren't things that anyone else could work on, just him.

Same thing here but it doesn't really make me sad. It's who he is and how he is and I knew that going into it. I am not going to try and change him. He's always been very matter-of-fact. He only speaks when he's got something to say. I like him like that though...he balances me out very well.

I admit, sometimes I'd like a free ticket into his head...lol
I really don't think I'd find anything I don't already know though.
