wtf is your problem??

I said and i repeat: a 39 year old woman is almost always better looking than a 18 y/o. The 18 year old are awkward, weird, dont know what they want in life and are finding themselves. A 39 year old usually knows who she is, knows what suit her better, her flaws and virtues, and exudes a confidence and widsom that a 18 year old cant even dream of. If you think that this things dont reflect on the outside and dont reflect on a woman beauty then im sorry for you and your narrow mind.

Just how usual is usual though? Within 2 points of standard deviation?

I think this is just pointless effort trying to compare 18 y.o with 39 y.o. as well as comparing famous actresses to average women in the same age group...

That's a rather diplomatic way of putting it.

That's you. That is not the norm, in my experience. The demographic of women I date (educated, professional, liberal/progressive in a major city) earn their own money and pay for their own things in the 21st Century. They're also just as likely to come up with the date idea and do the asking as I am. This isn't 1950.

Some, but we're talking most/average. What difference do the minority make? I'm an attractive average 32 year old, but I don't look better than an attractive average 18 year old. Less awkward, yes. But that's all.

I would say it would be the same for woman as for men- After the 50 mark...the only thing available out there are dysfunctional single people who were failures in marriage or never had a long term relationship. As they say - all the good ones are taken by that point. Few men and woman in their mature years have a healthy attitude regarding the opposite sex...It's not just about sex at this point- Finding a partner is very important when you are older- They will be the person who holds your hand on your death bed or you theirs... It's a very serious choice if you are looking for a permanent thing. If you are just looking for fun and sex...most intelligent older males and females are not interested. They want quality.

What's with that? A 32 year old is a very young and vital woman...not all YOUNG people are attractive because they are young.

In honest relationships money is not a consideration. The previous writer who dated older woman because they paid their way is probably a person that no one really wants - young or older...sounds like a bit of a shallow goof.

Oooookay. Right. So why are the 18-25 year old women the ones getting the most approaches on dating sites and IRL?

Like I said, 39 year olds are less awkward than 18 year olds. There is only so much a 39 year old can do. The examples posted earlier of famous female sex symbols looked better at 18. The 10's at 18 continue to be 10's at 39. It took 15-20 years to become famous, not to become sexier.
