No idea why she did this, but if you are wondering if she wants to get back together and if you should go for it, my advice is no. She sounds like a bit of a jerk.
What I am wondering, though, is why you were not already aware that she could be pregnant, that any time you have sex can end up in pregnancy. Why was it THAT big of a shock to you?

You should relax sometimes. She was Mod snip: language. for doing that to you. She might be a drama queen, but I am pretty sure you already knew that.
Sometimes, girls did that to get guys' attention. I know a woman who is in her 40s did that once to her boyfriend. I never understand the mentality or logic behind it, I think it might be the combination of immaturity and insecurity.
Well, no method or combination of methods is 100%, and most women don't know they are pregnant for several months (though 4 is a stretch... but she could have put off telling you because it was stressful, or because she was considering an abortion...).
My aunt didn't realize she was pregnant until the 6 month mark. She'd had her tubes tied, didn't gain any weight and still had what she thought were her regular periods. My cousin was just a bit of a surprise

Being pregnant? Seriously, this **** is not funny. Ex sent me a text that she just found out she was four months pregnant. Had me startled for a few minutes until she said she was just kidding.
Thid one did it as a way to get back at you. Apparently she's still pissed about something or other. If she was pregnant, same reason as above then add "look what you gave up".
I don't see that as a joke. I've known women to actually joke about being pregnant but in response to certain comments not to actually make guy believe she is carrying his fetus.
