My response is *not* meant to say anything about how anyone *else* feels, just how it is for me.
I'm a woman, and I think lingerie is more for the man. That's because I don't enjoy wearing it, as it is (for me)
physically quite uncomfortable, costs too much, and is too delicate to launder properly.
I'm a very down-to-earth, practical, "brass tacks" type of person who needs all clothing to be
machine-washable, sturdy, soft & unstructured, and not too pricey.
Plus, this is a very cold climate here, skimpy things don't insulate me,
and being chilly doesn't make me want to disrobe.
So I'd rather stick with wearing multiple layers of warm clothing,
and hope my guy is content with me, as is-and to heck with lingerie
Depends on the people in question. My experiences have been that it's been for the man. I don't think I even look good in some of the things that I wear.
Women love playing dress up, particularly if they have the body for it, but who is the lingerie really for? I can say that for me. lingerie is no more sexy than a generic thong and bra if a woman is in shape, but I notice it seems to make women feel sexy, which translates into more confidence in the bedroom.
what is your opinion on this?
I agree. It's mostly for the woman.
Lingerie can make a person feel sexay.
Sorta like when a person wears high heels. Something about wearing clothes that play with one's own imaginations and eroticizes the experience? Makes it that much more intense.
If lingerie were for men wouldn't more of them being wearing it themselves (men's of course).
I once suggested my dh buy me some sexy underwear. He got me a thong. I told him if he wore it one day then I would wear it. It was never worn.
lol, and now, pretty much every woman below the age of 40 wears a thong. Back in High school everyday was ''thong for everyone to see'' day. College was the same. And when women show up in front of me with their tight to the point of cutting off their blood circulation and in their yoga pants, its pretty darn obvious they have a thong or a g-string. Most women who have a nice butt are using a thong. Even the skinny/fat are, anyway.

Not really. Many women think they are not very comfy and are moving to hipsters or cheekies.
Tough call--I could actually say abou equall for both of them, since males could get more turned on by it while females could look sexier due to it.
