I live in an older neighborhood. We choose to not live in places with HOAs for various reasons. I'd rather have a giraffe next door than have someone tell me what shade of green my grass has to be.

Depending on how the HOA is run it can be helpful or a hinderance.
Going to see Black Sabbath tonight....... I only want to see these guys because they are all in their 60's and are hinting at retiring, I figure I want to see old Ozzy get back together for one last tour as the original lineup.....
