Plus, if you set it up via text, on a smart phone you can automatically add the event to your calendar -- time, location, etc. =)

I think its a little weird and passive to not talk on the phone before the first date.

If you're setting up plans for a date, you're going to meet them. Talking is much more informative than text.

I may be biased though, my exwife was one of those people who never talked and always texted. It was super aggravating and just masked social anxiety.

Meeting women who are happy to actually talk on the phone has been just spectacular.

Texting is too passive and unfocused to be the sole method of communication.

Texting keeps people at a DISTANCE and that's why i never liked it during the getting to know process
