Not directed at OP. The following is asked in general.
Why can't average folks be found attractive?
Why does a man have to be 6' with a swimmers body or a woman have to have the "perfect figure?"
Also, a lot of those "hot celebrities" aren't that far from being average. If Ryan Gosling let himself go about 30 lbs, replacing muscle with fat, he wouldn't be so hot. He'd be pretty much average.
On the same token, I see a lot of us average joes and janes with the potential to be complete showstoppers.
I think average spans a very large range. I consider myself average and many women say I am exactly that. I have had a much smaller number of women say that I am above average.
Same thing for women, I could find a woman that most would consider average and I would think she's incredibly attractive. I like shorter women with softer features. Some men like tall and slim. Not every one is the same.
Those numbers are fat unless the guy has muscles like a football player or the girl is curvy in the non-fat sense. Also, 5'7" is tall for a girl, avg is 5'4.5".

I voted no because I can honestly say I don't find most people physically attractive. They just are good to look at, but there is no real "attraction." But once I start to know him and like a man... THEN I find him physically attractive. I kind of also have to like his smell and his voice. I have no idea why this is. I don't even have a "type" so to speak.
So no, I don't find most men physically attractive. I only find a few. But in those few their physical appearance can range greatly from what most would find good looking to average to not so good looking man.
