Oh, good grief! Work status has nothing to do with who cheats. The person most likely to cheat is the person with various psychological profiles, like maybe narcissistic, maybe someone needy, whatever. Working men cheat, don't they? Stay-at-home dads can cheat. So why would women be any different?
People either think it is OK to cheat, or they don't. Their work situation has nothing to do with it.
However, a woman who is unhappy in her marriage is much more likely to cheat, since she isn't getting her needs met at home or is even looking for a new nest to move into.
That being said, even if they were morally bankrupt, most SAHMs I know don't have the time, energy, or opportunity to cheat. A huge chunk of extramarital affairs are a result of work romances. That's a fact, not erroneous. Women don't typically cheat with some random guy they meet in the street.
SAHM has more flexible time while kids are in school. Not everyone is playing tennis or volunteering in the library.
And SAHMs are not just around other moms.
