well Chowhound when there's hot topic threads like "is tool size important" and "how do you suppose money attracts women" mine really don't stand a chance

Yeah, the problem is when you have a well thought out, interesting thread, no one gives a shyt.... I've done it several times, thread dies after about 10 posts...
Yet some of the most inane, completely and utterly stupid threads go on and on for 400 plus posts... I have one come to mind but I won't say which one it was... but man... you say something stupid and is obvious trolling and everyone goes off...
Make me wonder about the IQ levels around here... to be honest......
I've said this a few times lately.. but I think I need a break from this dumpster.......
My own business, hands down, so I guess I'm "career".
I've spent far too long working for other people
I got married, it was happy for quite a while, had two kids. No regrets except for the man I chose.
But then my kids wouldn't be the same if he wasn't their dad so it balances out.
I find the whole commitment thing overrated and I don't really enjoy a man's company much anyway. I don't like sharing a bed with anyone other than my cat, and I'm not prepared to care for anyone who gets sick or even cook an egg, so I'm pretty useless as a partner anyway.
Relationships are a lot like working for other people now I come to think about it...lots of effort with insufficient reward.

You remind me of another poster MsAnnthrope.......
Nope...no regrets at all. I'd do it the same way if I had a "do-over".
I went to school and got my degree, got married, had our family and stayed home until they were all in school full-time. Now I'm back at work and the process of getting back into the workforce after a 13yr hiatus was easy-peasy for me.
