Keeping a relationship a secret? (girlfriend, kids, friend, living together)

What do you think about it? My brother kept his girlfriend a secret for 4 years until he brought her to meet my mother.

My mother only knows my son's mother for obvious reasons. Otherwise, officially, I've never had any other girlfriend.

but, to give you a different idea to think about, having secret relationships can be very fun at times

Kind of silly to me but if it makes sense to those involved then why not.
It is no one else's business how you all live your lives.

Yes, they had been living together for more than a year I think when my mother met her.

Who had been living together for more than a year when your Mother met her?
In your original post you said your brother kept his girlfriend a secret for 4 years.
Now I'm confused as to whom has the secret girlfriend, who has the child and who the Mother has met.

My brother and his girlfriend had living together for a year when my mother met her, they had been together for 4 years in total.

I've the child.
