i think we often BURY the hurt, pain, anger,,, then it festers (if not dealt with) and it will come out-its like this one big painful ball of shyt- it can make you ill
this is one reason we get very cautious as we get older-the stings of the break up lasts for a longggg time..
particularly if we dont deal with the emotions
Depends on the breakup. If it was a bad or one sided relationship (against your favor) the breakup is easier.
Falling in love is great fun. The best is sustaining that love. If you're sustaining that love and tending to it properly you don't have to worry about it ending.
I think it depends on how much you loved the person. Falling in love feels like you're in a cloud, but breaking can feel like you're being lowered in a cage to a fiery pit. I think at the end of the day, the break-up tends to be the lasting impression no matter how great the love was. People generally tend to think about their losses and somewhat regretful if it didn't work out.
I've had some really happy relationships, and although most ended in infidelity, all the good times and love shared pales in comparison to the temporary pain I endured at the end.
I have absolutely no regrets, and have been blessed, I gotten to share those moments with someone; it's an invaluable life experience.
If it means wearing a shell necklace... I'd take the crying one.
