I really need to rename this thread something more appropriate. Something like "I'm Really Hungover!" or "I'm Really Pathetic" or "I Just wasted $150 and an evening of my life trying to be a normal person and failed miserably." I'm never going out again and there's no way this girl would ever talk to me sans alcohol. All those of you who told me to get out my house and do something, that was terrible advice. Thanks for nothing.

This reminds me of texts I get from my drunk friends. And it is always followed by immediate regret. I have been in your position as far as the hangover goes but I can't say I ever fell in love with someone while drunk

It's good that you texted her, though "Hi E" is the kind of text that I hate. You're not asking her anything or telling her anything. Say, "I had a great time last night. Let's do it again Friday." or "Hope you're not too hungover this morning " That's something she respond to.
She may be at work or school, and can't reply till she gets a break.

I think it's fine . Sure, more is better, but a text like his just sounds to me like a shorthand for 'Are you busy / can you talk?'.
Plus, it was hard for him to write this much! We gotta encourage him .
