I didn't say don't pursue. I said relax and have fun. You didn't do anything wrong by talking with her or anyone else willing to speak with you. You followed up with a couple of texts, fine. If you don't get a response, let it go. Instead of going out with the purpose of getting into a serious relationship, go out with the intent to enjoy yourself. The relationship will come to you in time, usually it happens when you are perceived as not being needy, in other words having self confidence. Enjoy the ride, the destination will come in time..
Make room for other women, because this particular girl can go away in an instant and cut off all communication. Have other options, and be sure to mention them if she were to pull away.

Thing is, I haven't been here before. I'm 41 and never had a gf, if you can believe that. Anyways, she still hasn't responded. So I guess that's considered a fail.
That's it! She's the one. I fell in love tonight. I didn't think it was possible. I went to a bar tonight. I played some pool. I was at the bar for 8 hours. And I met this girl. We were both so into each other. We talked all night long. She gave me her number. We texted all night. We hung out, we talked. This is it. Finally I know what i want.
