They would think that they (the parents) might act like no girl is good enough for their son, so they won't be nice to her and that's why no girls ever get brought around.
My friend has only brought one girl home and they treated her coolly. See they want him to marry a girl with roots in their country, Nigeria. Yet he dates and sleeps with mostly Black American women. So there's that.
Wow, what an interesting thread. Only in my case, the 32-year-old son (well, 33) is me. While I've dated and had relationships, I never brought anyone home, either. I haven't been with most of my girlfriends long enough to get to the "meet the parents" stage, and my most recent girlfriend of 2 years didn't care. So I'm hoping to get the parents' point of view on this.
As an added benefit, it's be cool to get an update on the OP's as well.
