I would say that it depends on the context and circumstances. And the relationship the two have.

Hard to say..like Raena said, it depends on how it was said.

He might be one of those "women are inferior and must know their place" types of men, or it might be something else.Not enough info for an educated guess.

ONe time I was doing something in my car and he told me to stop doing that in my car "Woman!". Another time I trying to figure out how to do something on a new computer I was using and he told me to figure it out "Woman". I'm wondering why I keep getting called woman by him.
