We've been having weird foggy weather, but mostly it's a night, the fog rolls in pretty heavy at times.

This morning I looked out the window and 9 am with a huge thick layer of fog... I don't ever really remember fog like that that late in the morning.......was kind of a trip, I wonder how much it screwed up the morning commute... although it's been pretty light because of the holidays as of late.

Bite me Chow! 20 inches of snow and it's now 6 below. Now let's talk morning commute. LOL

Yesterday I saw a sign in someone's yard at the end of their driveway that said, "Free Snow" and they even left the snow shovel out by the sign like they had just given up.

Yep, East Coast is getting pounded. We are supposed to get some snow here this weekend but nothing like out there.

Lovely. Now there is a baby bird in my garage from when I opened the door and it's making all kinds of noise driving the dogs even more crazier than they already are. I tried to sort of shoo it out the door but it wasn't having it - too cold. I guess I'll be kind and just deal with it, but how will it eat? I'd hate for it to die in the garage, but I can't put seed out for it because it'll attract mice. This place is a zoo.

I don't even feel bad about it. We've had more than our fair share already. I do think the newscasters are making the whole area look like a bunch of wimps. Nut up, people!

Damn...it was 24 here this morning with a wind chill of 15. I was complaining about that...however, snow would have been nice. If they predict snow with any kind of certainty, they cancel school

I had to go to the grocery store yesterday because the dogs needed food and I was feeding them crackers. I have a rear wheel drive car and last year I had a bag of landscape stones in the back and it drove fine with the traction control. This time, however, was a whole other animal.

All the main roads got plowed but the side streets weren't and I'm only one house away from the main road. There were already ruts in the road from other people driving on it by the time I left. It took almost 30 minutes and two men pushing the car and me rocking the car out of reverse and drive to get the car just to that one house away to the main road. The car is only a two seater.

Coming home I just floored it when I took the corner back onto my street to get it in the driveway and up the drive into the garage. It didn't make it. They had to help me push it again and then the guy next door got his snow plow out and did my driveway and the street in front of our houses. It was just nasty.

Right now it's a balmy 7 degrees

It's cold here too, and we're expecting another 6 inches of snow or so tomorrow night, but I still wouldn't want to live in Florida or anywhere else that doesn't see 4 seasons.
