I think there is a unspoken standard in the way black comics are expected to act. We saw Bill Cosby awhile back and though I grew up around his comedy it was breath of fresh air.

I'm thinking about getting into stand up myself and it may shock audiences to hear a black comedian who doesn't curse every line.
Be warned Eddie drops the N bomb a few times in this clip... I laughed my butt off at around 1:10 in

I'm a stand up comedy "student" and often have the guys at work going pretty good, getting better at figuring out a structure of a joke or a bit, some of the tricks is to figure out how to segue into subject without sounding like a setup... if that makes any sense... IDK....

Some of the greats out there, Carlin, Rock, Seinfeld, the list goes on and on of course... I have a cold right now and Mrs. Chow has been telling me that I've been sounding just like Lewis Black lately, of course that warrants a few rants and some animated finger pointing as he tends to do in his bits...

Not to bash on the Apollo theater comics, but a lot of those dudes just aren't funny to me, a lot of the times they just jump around on stage and say controversial stuff and while being edgy, isn't really funny to me... seems to be lacking in thought and cleverness, for a lack of another way of saying it. I know that a lot of white comedians have a rougher time with the crowd, I think Carey played there yrs ago and got a good reception... IDK...

Anyways this clip below has a few N bombs like I previously mentioned......

It is -8 right now. The low of -11 and a windchill of -35. Winter can kiss my fuzzy ass.

Tomorrow night is suppose to be a low of 6. Been awhile since we have had single digit temps.

Boyne Mountain Ski Resort 1983! Outdoor pools. We have photos of us in our swimsuits sitting on the snow mounds around the pool with steam coming off it.

we've, ok, I have been toying with the idea if attempting to ski or learn to ski again. Considering it's been 18 years since I've skiing.
