How far does he have to drive?
He works about 25 miles away. People that left work at 12 are still not home...it's taking people the better part of 3 hours for a commute that would normally take 30 minutes, and it's only getting worse.

I called him again, told him to stay put...that's what they are asking on the news. I have no idea if he'll follow that advice. At this point I'm done.

Yes, it's best that he stays at his work where it's warm & dry until the storm is over. Then let them plow & sand the main Interstate. Drive during the warmest part of the day. He doesn't have a heater in truck, he could get a Black Cat catalytic heater at Walmart, etc. They have handwarmers, foot warmers, etc

When he does drive he should put some weight in the bed of his pickup. Take some air out of

the tires. Drive Slowly.

Be SAFE...

Hope he gets home to you and the family safe and sound soon.

We're getting bad weather, but not of the snowy kind, just really heavy rains. Just started up about 10 minutes or so ago

Stay safe, stay warm.

I've been navigating him home on the side roads. His truck does really well in the snow and crappola that we are getting. My neighbor just got home after 5 1/2 hours

He's been on the road for about an hour and half and hopefully only another 30 minutes out.

Jealous Minx!!!

He's home. Took him 2 hours but he beat everyone else home. His old truck comes in handy sometimes.

There are folks that work with him that left 3 hours before him and aren't home yet

I can't wait until it's warm enough to put a bikini on and scare the neighbors.

In another month it will be 100* though.

Didn't you all start seeing the white stuff around noon-ish?

Our county called it last night. I went in this morning and left when the snow started falling. I think we are going to be stuck in for a day or two.
