It's understandable. It was hard for my mom to process and remember all the things the doctors threw at her for my dad. Still thinking of you all and hope you get some good news.
So far, it's been sort of a roller coaster ride from day to day, good news and then bad news. But that's just how it goes (as you know). We're trying to hold on to this little victory. Everyone's support means a lot to Chow.

We're here for ya! Even if you just need a laugh, I'm sure we have plenty of bird stories.
I have been on a roll lately with thinking about how lucky we are, even with these medical crises we've been having, it's almost spiritual, but as of late I can't believe how much we have and how lucky we are to be living in a place like the USA where we have such a great standard of living.
We were watching a travel show recently and the host was in India and just seeing the complete abject poverty there is sobering........
Completely sobering and we should all be thankful we have as much as we do........
We really are. I'm really trying to be more thankful for how fortunate we truly are. There are always things I wish were better/easier/whatever, but if I really stop and think about it, I have no reason to complain.

Haha, keep 'em coming.

It's funny, the things we tend to think of as "basic necessities" here. They usually only end up causing us more headaches than they're worth anyway.

For me to feel this way is big.... I'm a naturally pessimistic person... I always see the half empty glass... you know what I mean...
But I've had a slight shift as of late, I hope it sticks....
Of course there are always people better off than you, but there's always people way way worse off and to see that perspective is powerful.
I can get in my car right now... go to a store and get virtually any kind of food right now... I can flip on the TV and have any kind of entertainment right now.
I can go into any major hospital and be certain I can get good quality decent care.
I can walk into any store and buy whatever I want.
The list goes on and on..............
I don't mean these physical things mean that much... it's just a big picture snapshot of things.....
