I would hope I could be as strong as Cher in that case. Chances are I wouldn't want to deal and tell the 24 year old I was too busy too.
Oh, I see.

I personally wouldn't go out with a guy that young, but I respect that Cher calls her own shots, against sometimes extreme opposition. I feel the same way about Stevie Nicks.

So if a guy goes out with a woman that's much younger than him, does that also make him a headcase?

I guess she was just being polite, I'd not take seriously someone that much younger. I've been there with that age difference, him crushing on me, actually a couple more years age difference come to think of it. I did not accept a date with the young man. She probably considered it but decided not to pursue anything. Sorry.

My mom’s been happily married to a guy 17 years her junior for 42 years.

It’s not always some dirty cougar thing. Sometimes people actually love each other in spite of age differences .

There is a 24 year age difference between actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson and his wife Sam.

She directed Fifty Shades Of Gray.

She's 42 and has considerably more responsibilities than you do. Maybe she is busy and maybe she is not. Its not like you have months invested in each other. Realistically, what would you be losing? Play the field while you are young.
