Well I am not a hypocrite and have had a FWB before . This I am open to another one seeing I work full time and take two college classes . also do not get much sleep 3-5 hours a night.
I wouldn't rule it out. What is this about promising to stop seeing them? Is that in the future, after some milestone of the relationship, or right now? If right now, why are we even talking about it? I would ask some questions. Like, have they stopped seeing this person before, and then restarted? How sure are they that neither of them wants more than FWB? How long have they been FWB? And of course the usual STI testing and risk stuff. I dated a guy once, for example, who had an FWB in another country who he saw twice a year, and they had been that way for 10 years. It was clear that the relationship was stable in its current state and was not going to grow. If I was dating someone and s/he had an ongoing FWB, I would probably get one too so things would not be lopsided.

No, If I found out, it would be an immediate deal breaker.
It's pretty gross to think that someone I am intimate with was getting it on with another guy. Was it last night? was it this morning? Was it before we met up?
I have an off again on again FWB, but if I start dating someone more than one time, I usually put on the breaks with the FWB.
My question is, why is this person telling me about the Fwb and promising to quit seeing them, instead of simply stopping it without letting me know? Very manipulative. I would dump a man who told me he had an fwb in this way.
Would you date someone if they had a FWB but promised to stop seeing that person?
The question you have in the title of the thread and the question you have in the OP are different. No I would not date somebody who currently had a FWB.
I'd never be lucky to have a FWB in the first place. lol They save that for studs. lmao
Yeah right.
