A thread I caught last night made me curious about a particular topic...
How would you address this issue, more importantly, when? I took a test recently, thanks to a city-data member that specified that STD tests do not test for Herpes, and I was pretty bummed out when I found out that, unfortunately, like the majority of the population, I carry the thing known as cold sores. I've never had an outbreak thus far, however this morning I did some research that revealed that although it is common to have the HSV1 virus outbreak near the lips, it is entirely possible to transmit to other areas.
Given the fact that certain CD members emphasize the importance of a certain sex act in terms of pleasing a woman, and given the research that in the increasing popularity of this act there has been an increase in outbreaks (of HSV1, which is NOT HSV2, reffered to as genital herpes) near the genitals.
All things considered, how should I address this topic to a future partner?
Just tell every woman you date for the rest of your life you have herpes.
Let her decide if she wants to contract it.
But make sure you tell her AFTER you pick her up in the Lambo.
Just because I subtly mentioned my preference for the Lamborghini in the other thread does not mean I have one.
That said , I don't want to ruin my chances with women who have no clue on this topic. How would you have an adult conversation before sex? Statistics say 60-80 percent have HSV1 and 25% may have HSV2.
I wouldn't date anyone with any type of sores near, or around their lips.
I do not get these sores, and if a woman has HSV1 I am okay with it. However, as many as 90% of people do not know they have HSV2.
