Wait, were you all not on the same page there?

I'm one of those rare types who went from CF to wanting a kid to really being mixed now. Until I was 34 I was convinced I didn't want kids and looked into having a tubal but decided against it for many reasons such as it is surgery. Then I reunited with an exboyfriend and my niece was born and started to change my mind about having kids. When I broke up with my ex I wanted a child desperately but while doing online failed because men who want kids, don't have any and open to a woman my age are slim and none. Now with my boyfriend we both have the attitude if it happens it happens but either way are fine with the future. Both of us are dealing with issues where having kids now would be a nightmare. Also, while I wasn't interested in having kids I was more open to adopting older kids so it's why I have keep options open.

I rather die in the most excruciating of deaths than breed so naturally I got a vasectomy. I love it. I was born with a problem. The problem was that I could breed and now I've fixed myself and I'm a much better man because of it.

No, we were always on the same page, she was just thinking if her and I or me or whatever is the correct way of saying it, if we split up she thought maybe I'd change my mind later down the road if I were ever with another woman after her.

Got it done at 30 without any relationship, never looked back, knew I wouldn't change my mind and never did. Lost one great guy over it but have never connected loving a man with wanting to be a parent. Never.

Nope. No need. I'm celibate. Best form of birth control there is.

It'd make sense if I were actually getting some. But why buy new tires if you're not even driving the car.

My husband has had his for way over a year, he got his free from the VA Medical Center. It was the best damn decision he ever made, other then marrying me I can't count how many times I have thanked him, when I see some unruly pain in the ass child screaming and throwing a fit and making like a living hell for whatever parent got stuck with it. It is so great not to have to worry with pregnancy scares, i'm so thankful he went and got it.
