Wow, are people really this obtuse? 1st, she accelerates the frequency of contact. Then she "needs" your help with something--the damsel in distress schtick. Then she says she owes you for your gallant assistance. Then she asks you to dinner. Not lunch, but dinner! Get a clue, man! She's hitting on you!

Update on situation: I texted her a few hours ago, and she took like 2 hours to text back because she was studying all day. Said that she was about to go eat with one of her friends, and asked if she should just call me when she was done. I said sure, and that I could drive, then she said that she would just give me the money instead, and I could go get it myself. So it appears that it wasn't a date after all, which makes this situation even more confusing. Oh well. At least I now know where I stand.
Well, her taking 2 hours to respond, then telling me she was already about to eat, and then telling me she would just give me the money instead of me picking her up made it pretty clear. I don't know how else to interpret the situation other than she could have been testing me. But, if this was a test, that would make no sense. She basically told me that she was going to eat with her friend instead of going out to eat with me. If she actually liked me, she would have just went out to dinner with me.
Since you had to ask if you had a date then you probably did not have a date because you don't recognize what dating is.
No one here would know what she is thinking because we are not her and we don't know her so maybe you should ask her if that was supposed to be a date.
By the way if you don't actually use your voice and ask her out you will never know for sure where you stand with this girl because she is the only one who can tell you if she wants to date you.
