My son has a little girlfriend and he is so smitten with her. I asked what he liked about her and he told me she's smart/witty, funny and nice to everyone and he likes to talk to her. I asked what she looks like and he said "oh, yeah she's pretty cute too". That was the icing, but not the reason why he likes her.
Now maybe he was just saying what I wanted to hear, but at least he has the smarts to do that
