i wasn't worried with dating through these years. I had to take care of my mom who was dying of cancer in this 5 year stretch, so I never had opportunities.
I think you're talking about dating and being sexually active during those years. If so, yeah, I'm very angry and resentful about being shut out of the market.
College was when I was in my prime, but I regret not being as self aware as I am now. Then again I wish I had the reckless abandon that I had back then sometimes.
i wouldn't use the word "resent" as it seems a bit too emotionally loaded, but to answer your question i certainly wish i had gotten more.
looking back tho, i don't see how i could possibly have gotten any - i went to a commuter school in a large city so 90+% of students just went to class and then left. everyone already had their own friends and social networks outside of school.
i was also overweight on account of the anti-depressants i was taking, so that didn't help =/
but yeah, i think being a young guy in college surrounded by all those young beautiful women...if you have what it takes to pull, those can easily be your most memorable years :-)
What are you talking about? Everyone I know got plenty. And I went to a single sex college. We made the most of road trips and townies. It was a no brainer.
If you have resentment then you have regrets whether you believe in it or not.
Did you decide to not pursue sex or relationships? If you made that decision, and pursued other things, don't resent it. Living in the past isn't going to change it. Just make you depressed for no good reason in the present.
