Clueless male here.

Well not really, just want some input to verify or dismiss what I think.

I have a female coworker with whom I enjoy relating to and I believe she feels the same way, but just on a pure friendship level. She knows I am happily married and I have no adulterous desires towards her. I don't think she wants an affair either. Truth be told, if I were single I'd ask her out. But that is meant for another reality.

I just want to get some female input. She looks at me funny (in a positive way) when we pass in the hall. Smile and nice sort of eye contact. Her emails to me always have this at the end.

I did her a big work related favor today and she said "Thanks! at the end of her text. In my response I said "my pleasure" and then she texted me back with this .

Just curious what it all means if anything. Enquiring mind wants to know.

Best course of action is to find something else to focus on. You'll be better off thinking about other things.

She's flirting. You're flirting.

Be very careful.

It means nothing. She's being nice.

Don't make it mean anything, ask yourself "if my wife were acting this way with another coworker, how would I feel?"

Be polite, and don't read into it.

Really? Smiley faces now denote flirting?

Imagine my chagrin that I have been flirting with everyone, relatives, co-workers, the kids, my female friends.....

Stop trying to figure out if this chick likes you and take your wife out to dinner.

The smiles themselves aren't flirting..it's the fact that he suspects she gave him "a funny look". His response that he felt he had to point out, "my pleasure". In itself may be nothing, but the OP knows he is looking for it to be flirting, and if it meant nothing to him, he wouldn't be here posting about it
