Online is where many men and women go to die. I'm saying that in the nicest way possible. If you live in a more family oriented area, like I do, there's a plethora of single mom's that are starting over. At almost 30, I'm not really in the market to enter a relationship with someone starting over in life. Low tier job, kids, possibly living back with parents, and so on. If I was more in their predicament, I would be looking more in their direction.
In family oriented areas, many of your good women already got married. You end up somewhat waiting on the sideline for their husband to screw up and they get divorced. Don't get me wrong, I love a single mom, but I am surrounded by many who just aren't a right squeeze for me. I'm not a right squeeze for them either.

So you're saying that you come across less fat women in real life?
I'll join in here and say yes. I see less fat women in real life than I see using online dating. Actually I'd say the women I see in every day life off campus are even just better looking than those online. I'd also say the less attractive women in real life seem to be less forward around me, I've only had one fat chick hit on me IRL, it seems to be normal on OLD.
I do not think the women using POF are even close to a fair representation of average women.
5'10.5" and I rounded up to 5'11" on my profile, I also have really broad shoulders and I'm in decent shape.
