Me and my wife was in a certain area. She knows I like the way the women are. I asked her Lord forbid if she should pass if she thought it would be wrong to get involved with women in this area even though we have different beliefs? She said no they would be good.

Only thing we disagreed on was age. She was thinking much older and I was thinking younger so we compromised

Is it wrong to talk such things over with your SO?

You know, I never really thought about it, but I think most people would want their SO to be happy, whether it be moving on after a certain time or doing whatever....

I'm not sure I would go on and on about it, or want to hear my SO go on and on about it..

My first wife was a neuro trauma nurse before she died, and we used to have some pretty candid conversations about life with out the other in case something should ever happen. I am grateful in lieu of circumstances we had those conversations. When I did finally get over her passing, those conversations gave me strength to go on with my life.

I really hope if I pass first, that my husband finds someone else. He knows this, though he has said it's "once and done" for him.

I think it's ok to talk about it, but it's going to far to fantasize aloud about taking a young spouse, and any details along those lines. Besides, think about it. If one spouse were to say it WOULDN"T be ok for the other to move on, how would they enforce that? If they're gone, they're gone. If the surviving spouse is fortunate enough to find happiness, why would they stop themselves from enjoying that?

OP, would you want your wife to remain alone for the rest of her life, if you had an untimely death? I hope not. Not that you could stop her.
