People who perform sex for a living, let's say professional porn actors, escorts, etc, regard their romantic relationships as open relationships?

What about their partners? Let's say a guy falls in love with a woman. This woman happens to be a porn actress. Will he adopt a strict "she only feels anything for me, she just oes her work with the others" mindset?

Okay, I guess each person and relationship is unique, but how do you think those types of relationships work?

They work like any other relationship. Their work is their job. I don't know anyone that does porn anymore, but I do know a few sex workers, and they have relationships the same way everyone else does with only exception being they don't date insecure or jealous people.

Sex is just sex for many people. Some use it strictly to get high, others to connect more deeply with someone they actually care about, and some get off on making their partner's toes curl and body tremble and contract uncontrollably with an orgasm more intense than anything they've ever experienced before. It's natural to think about. It's pleasurable to participate in. Do so responsibly and stay on the same page. There would a lot less cheating/sneaking around if people were just honest with how they feel.

People can also have sex with someone they love or care about and have it be an emotional experience, and have sex just for the sex, or have sex for work. One person can do all three as well.

It is a common false dichotomy that either people have sex for the physical part, or they have sex and have it be an act of emotional connection. The same person can do both. Sadly, I think it is often used by the people that feel sex has to be a deep emotional thing to disparage people that also have sex for the enjoyment of sex ("Oh, I couldn't do that, sex has to mean something to me" types).

Of course, doing it for work is different from either.
