Might as well offer to buy her and her friend a refreshing beverage, or a drink of their choice the next time you make your approach
In the cafe, it's prepaid $10/burrow bucks (the university's currency) so all drinks are free and food is free as well. So that probably wouldn't work. Taking her and her girlfriend(s) out for a drink (non alcoholic) is a possibility.
And the only place i relax is the movies/ice skating because it's where i feel comfortable, but i could try coffee etc.
My first date with my husband was ice skating. He was this big strong man in a special group in the military and took me ice skating LOL Turned out he played ice hockey as a kid. It was so much fun and he never let me fall. We rented hockey skates for he -- he said they are easier than figure skates.

i have played since i was 7/8 roughly and it's where i am always most comfortable. Ice hockey skates are always easier than figure skates!

Well it was a really fun date. After the skating a youth hockey game was scheduled at the rink and he asked me if I'd like to stay and watch it awhile. That was the first hockey game I had ever seen. Also the metal benches were so flipping cold that I ended up sitting on his lap.
