The small little picadillos that are irritating.

Is it possible to NOT have these when you're with your partner for a while? I am truly wondering that.

I've been listening to my best friend complain about these this morning about her husband. I remember I had them too when I was married. I wonder if it's just par for the course, or if it's possible to avoid this in a long-term relationship. Is this normal?

Spend too much time together and you'll end up looking for things that irritate you.

The fact that she doesn't exist is challenging at times.

To justify being irritated. "The way she chews her food..ugh!"

It's not the way she chews her food. She's just on my nerves from being too familiar.

Some things really are annoying and it takes awhile for things to come to light, but most of the time we look for them to give us a reason to be critical.

I guess there were little things in the early stages, but as we got to know each other better and better it just became humorous for both of us and actually endearing. We could both laugh at our own uniqueness and at each other.

The fact that she doesn't hear a word I say yet she can hear me pass gas from the opposite side of the house.

It's true.
