I don't typically spend time in this forum, but I was watching something earlier and for some reason, it made me think of past threads in this forum. The threads I'm talking about are those from guys who are wanting to know what we females find attractive. It seems some guys think it's all about looks, and if the guy is tall, and if he has money.

We have tried to explain it several times...but you know? Guys are more visual, so maybe this visual will help out:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwT7BHztBIU

What the heck does that have to do with relationships and guys? Great question. This is my way of trying to explain to guys what I find attractive. You see, IT IS NOT ALWAYS ABOUT LOOKS.

The guy in this video creates these videos, and owns these cats. He's an average looking guy, in my view. Normal height, normal weight, fairly normal looks...maybe a little better looking than most, but not an Adonis, for sure.

So what makes him attractive?

Did you see the video?

He has a creative mind.
He knows Star Wars.
He has pets...kittens, no less.
He loves his pets.
He plays with his pets.
He has a creative mind.
He's funny.
He's not an old stooge who acts serious all the time; he knows how to have some fun.
Did I mention that he has a creative mind? Typically, those who are more creative, tend to be intelligent.

When you put that all together, THAT makes a guy hot. He goes from average/above average to hot because of what I spelled out above. Each female will have her own version of what she finds "hot" in a guy, this is mine. Intelligence, creativity, a soft spot for animals, (kittens, no less), and a bit of a nerd. It is NOT about looks, guys. I don't know how else I can possibly explain it to you.

You'd wouldn't be saying this if he was short, weighed 350lbs and had a mud face, Lol

Funny you should mention that. I've been thinking lately, after some of these threads about attraction and what makes guys attractive, that creativity is a turn-on. Who cares about height or money? A good heart and a creative mind--irresistible!

Hey, let's try to imagine the ugliest guy alive, and see if the OP would still go for him if he owned kittens, and made creative videos! Yeah, that'll really test her thesis, won't it?

[Mod cut: Quoted post deleted).]

She likes creative guys who like kittens. Everyone has their preferences, y'know? I'm not into kitten guys myself, but I'm definitely into creative genius, playfulness, and a good sense of humor.

True. Would you feel the same way about a guy over 250 and balding?

That guy in the video was good looking so I guess this wouldn't count.

Was he good-looking? I thought he was about average. Kind of non-descript.

Of course it's not all about just looks or being tall or having money. Mostly the ones that say all of that stuff are the younger set.

I still think looks matter to a degree, but I don't believe it matters nearly as much as some of the guys here on the forum would suggest.

What "gals" don't often get is that many guys could care less, they are who they are and are usually pretty content with who they are. Women however, are so often wrapped in thinking about what others are thinking, spend untold billions per year to make themselves good better or so they think and if anyone dared say anything less than a compliment about their weight, they'd blow a gasket so fast that the trip to Mars would be quicker than going to a 7-11 for a slurpee.
