I went on a date this weekend with a guy who totally turned me off with his potty mouth. He seemed otherwise to be a good catch, attractive, good job, friendly. But as the night wore on I felt like I was sitting across from someone in the sixth grade.
He used phrases like "taking a dump", "rubbing one out", "banging" and even said "spl**ge" multiple times! I don't know if he was nervous or what, but his choice of words made him so unattractive to me.
So guys, when you're out with a woman, you can be playful, but watch your mouth!!!
And just think, since people usually try to be on their best behavior on a first date, imagine after a few more dates with him!
I know!! I am not an uptight person and I can handle a few cuss words here and there, but the words that were coming out of his mouth were just foul. I was sitting there thinking, do you really think this is attractive to a girl? Do you think this is going to work on me? It almost had a self-sabotaging flavor to it.
I just wonder where the conversation went that he felt the need to use those terms. I don't usually discuss masturbation and sex on a first date but that's just me lol.
One thing I do believe is that people should be themselves on a date rather than do the bait and switch, so he did just right--imagine being married to someone who talks like that around your family.

He certainly showed his true colors! After that display he just struck me as immature and lacking in confidence. Really turned me off.
He just might not be good with girls, doesn't mean he is a pig.
OP mentioned he could have been nervous.
I think he definitely was nervous but there are other ways he could have expressed that nervousness. The fact that he resorted to using those words, with a girl, on a date, means that he's more piggish than most. I know lots of guys who use these words, but they use them with their buddies in informal settings. There's a time and place for piggishness.
