When young adults speak of " older" as a general term they are usually speaking of about 40, and up from there.

However, I think from the OP, the meaning here was simply older than any given woman in any given scenario. So obviously, 40 is older than 30, 30 is older than 20 and so on.

It's not a phenomenon, not even in facetious terms. Older is older.

Incidentally I don't notice a huge change in women during that time, and I think a lot of it has to do with the pressure women are under to maintain their youth. There aren't a lot of dudes applying retinol to their skin every night and obsessively wearing sunscreen... I'm sure if they were, the aging discrepancy wouldn't be quite so huge.
LOL...I wouldn't say that after 30 is a no go for me, but I do generally find younger men to be better looking than older men. Also, since men often die sooner than women, that's another plus for pairing off with a younger man.

Definitely! Also, a high age in the father is linked to birth defects in children, higher rates of mental ilness and even increased ugliness

Older fathers have less attractive children - Telegraph

Older women have a harder time getting pregnant and can experience pregnancy complications. However, their eggs are the exact same as if they had gotten pregnant at age 20. The same is not true for men, (primarily because they produce new sperm every day), who's sperm gets progressively worse over time and takes on all the genetic mutations of increased age. Interesting how that fact doesn't get publicized, huh?

Well, I see many gorgeous men over the age of 30, so I cant agree with the whole "20 year olds are better" way of thinking. There are many, many over 30 men who have that sexy swagger so don't disregard them!

Hate is a very strong descriptor. I don't hate younger men.

Women and men like what they like, some like them young, some like them around the same age group, some like them older.

People like what they like. Who really cares what age group other people prefer...as long as it's not children?

Are you just asking about sex or a real relationship?

Not all women feel like that. There are plenty of women going out with men 10 years younger.
TRUE to a T!
