And I lost track, but to answer one of the questions, yes it's just the simple "starter" toys. I've always taken a liking to being dominated in the bedroom, and when this topic came up it rather excited me. I'm comfortable with them and everything, but I have never been in a full on "Dom" situation and I am clueless when it comes to the toys lol.
I did, however, read 50 Shades of Grey. I agree, a lot of the same content over and over. But that doesn't mean it can't get you fired up at times. Lol.
Toys don't necessarily mean "full on Dom"...that all depends on what you and your partner decide upon and what you're both comfortable with.
If you are leaning more towards being dominated, make sure you have a code word and establish boundaries. No "out of the blue" stuff...anything new should be discussed beforehand...and of course, have fun!
We have a bedroom drawer quite stocked with all kinds of toys. Alas I can not really remember how and when we really started acquiring them or using them. So cant advise the OP much on that.
Embarrasing story though is sending the mother of one of my Girlfriends up to get something from "The top drawer in the bedroom". When she came back she was quite calm about it. She just smirked and handed me the item and said "You meant the top drawer in the second bedroom then I take it" and walked away.
Took a few seconds for the inference there to sink in but almost at the same time the faces of myself and my girlfriends all just went "Ohhhhh craaaaaap".
Those have been around a long time. I wasn't sure it was even a bedroom toy when my gf at the time pulled one out considering the size and shape of the thing..Yep it was
