1. Sigh. I could come with many others. Don't be so clueless.
religious/spiritual reasons
making the family/families happy
tax breaks
the person makes you laugh
there, 10... want more?
2. they're all better than fiscal stability, that should be the last reason since it really doesn't make sense at all... it really makes no sense
1. Thank you!
2. Well, it makes some sense if one's spouse has very good earning power of his/her own and/or if one's spouse already has a lot of money (due to inheritance and/or et cetera).
Not even if this "re-animated corpse" was just as or more hot than Deter Jeter (for a male) or Kate Upton (for a female)?
That said, if croygenic preservation succeeds (which is obviously hardly guaranteed), then a person revived in such a manner might genuinely not be that different from a person who was revived after his or her heart stopped beating for a little while or whatever.
But you're not freezing yourself when you're young, are you?
A reanimated 90-yo Kate Upton might be hot ... for a 90-yo.

If you are looking for financial stability as a key component of a marriage good luck on finding a spouse with a lot of money who is going to put your name on her bank account any time soon after marriage!

Yes, but by that point in time, we will probably have medical technology which allows us to reverse the aging process as well. Thus, we'd probably be able to have a 90 year old and his or her body look, act, and function just like a 20 year old or whatever.

But even with that, there will be people who will not be happy with who they are no matter what technology they use to change themselves. I don't think that future technology is going to bring new happiness to people who aren't happy now. Look at the progression of technology over the last 2,000 years -- people still mope around crying the woah is me song.

Thanks! Though this event does not necessarily have to occur soon after marriage.
Also, after thinking about it over for the last couple of hours, I would honestly consider things such as finances (and education/career, which relates to finances) and personality to be equal. However, I might still prefer finances and everything which relates to it over a little more sexual compatibility if I had to pick one of them (though I would obviously prefer to have a spouse with both of these things).
